Abyssal Escape release date: is it out, and is it still in alpha?

Release date: 17 October 2026

The developers posted "Abyssal Escape | RELEASE DATE ANNOUNCEMENT" on their YouTube channel on 10 October 2026. The description reads simply: "17TH OF OCTOBER 2026 — LETS PLAY." 17 October 2026 was a Saturday.

The launch happened on schedule:

• The Roblox listing is now titled "[RELEASE] Abyssal Escape" and was last updated on 17 October 2026.
• The official Discord server renamed itself "[RELEASED] Abyssal Escape".

Some social posts you may still see repeat an older "95.5% done" progress figure or a "May 17" date. Those are out of date or typos. The official date is 17 October 2026.

What "alpha" means here

The Roblox description starts with "WHILE THE GAME IS IN ALPHA, EXPECT BUGS, GLITCHES, AND MORE." For players, that means:

• Killers, abilities, and timers can change between updates, so guides (including ours) may go out of date quickly. Check the last checked date on each page.
• The roster may grow: the listing promises killers "including 2011x, Furnace, and more". See all launch killers.
• The developers ask players to like, favorite, and follow the game for "updates, announcements, and exclusive previews". The quickest place for news is the official Discord.

Is there a beta or full release date?

Not yet. As of 18 October 2026 we found no announced date for leaving alpha. We'll update this page when the developers announce one.
